About
usern.me is the place to claim a username. Names are released in daily drops.
Daily drops
Each day opens at a random time. When the drop opens, up to 100 verified claims are available. Once those are gone, claiming closes until the next day’s random open.
Checking a name always works. Reserving with email only works while a drop is open and slots remain.
How claiming works
- Find an available name while the drop is open.
- Enter your email and reserve it (holds for 30 minutes).
- Verify from the email link. Only verified names count toward the 100.
One email can hold one active reservation. Verified usernames appear on the recently claimed list.
What usern.me is not
Claiming here does not reserve the same handle on Instagram, TikTok, X, or anywhere else. It is its own namespace.
